Large antique blue and white transferware bowl produced by Davenport in Staffordshire, England, dating to the early 19th century (circa 1820–1835). This impressive deep bowl is often referred to as a Punch Bowl or Centre Bowl, traditionally used for serving punch, fruit, or as a table centerpiece in Georgian and early Victorian households. Features: • Classic romantic harbor / port scene with sailing ships, bridges, and architectural elements • Rich cobalt blue copperplate transfer printing • Decorative floral border with excellent detail • Thick earthenware body typical of early Davenport production Size: Approx. 24.5 cm diameter × 10.5 cm height Condition: Good antique condition for its age. Shows expected signs of use and age including minor glaze wear and kiln marks. No major cracks or repairs observed.
