This is a stunning example of Edwardian-era English ironstone APPR. 125 YEARS OLD from the renowned Johnson Brothers pottery in Stoke-on-Trent. The "Holland" pattern is a highly sought-after variation of the classic Blue Onion motif, featuring deep indigo transferware designs with a "Flow Blue" aesthetic where the pigment subtly softens into the white granite glaze.
The teapot features an elegant, ornate scrolling handle and a matching decorative finial on the lid, making it a standout piece for any blue and white transferware collection or a traditional Victorian tea service.

Lid: There is one chip on the underside rim of the lid. This is not visible when the lid is seated on the teapot.
Interior: The interior shows authentic tea staining (darkening of the ceramic) at the base and around the internal strainer holes. This is very common for antique ironstone that was used for its intended purpose.
Glaze: Beautiful all-over crazing (fine hairline lines in the glaze) consistent with authentic ironstone of this age.
Body/Spout: No cracks, repairs, or external chips. The spout is in excellent condition.
