Mangave Sponge Paint Plant Pups
$3
Mangave is a cross between Manfreda and Agave. They combine to make the 'best of both worlds'. They are easier to grow than agaves, more forgiving. They can take a little more water and less light than agaves, but these guys do seem to do better in sun. This variety has pink spots (like paint flecks) that will deepen with sun (see pic 3). These rooted pups have been indoors all winter and so the spots have yet to darken. The mother plant (see pic 4) is very beautiful, over 30cm across now. She isn't for sale yet.
These pups (pics 1 and 2) are in about 8 or 9cm pots. $3 each. Or both for $5.
