Having trouble watering your vegetable or herb garden when you’re away on holiday for a weekend? Not watering deeply with excessive water evaporation in a drought when you are here? Inconsistent watering causing Blossom End Rot on your tomato bottoms?
Then the ancient, deep root, slow watering OLLA watering system is for you! Especially useful in large planters and raised beds to keep the soil from drying out, causing blossom end rot to tomatoes and seeing the leaves curl on your plants that are struggling to conserve water.
Method:
Dig a deep hole in your garden bed, insert Olla and let the last 1/4 stick out. Fill with water from watering can or hose and place terracotta saucer on top to prevent mosquitoes and other insects from entering. Weigh down the lid with a stone if squirrels are a nuisance. And you’re done! Then watch your plants take off in growth and stay healthy to resist disease.
I have similar ones like these in my vegetable garden; used for years with great success. They were especially useful in last year’s summer heatwave and drought.
Limited number of 10 available.
