Vintage Japanese Cobalt Blue Porcelain Vase – Floral Cart & Peon

Up for sale is a vintage Japanese porcelain vase featuring a rich, deep cobalt blue mirror-glaze finish. The front is decorated with a traditional Hanaguruma (imperial floral flower cart) carrying blooming lavender and pink peonies, rust and white chrysanthemums, and flowering white cherry/plum blossoms accented by fine gold-gilt detailing and a gold-trimmed rim. The vase stands approximately 12 inches tall with a classic flared neck and baluster silhouette. The base features a gold-gilt maker’s seal stamp marked JAPAN. It is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, and only minor, light surface wear consistent with age and display.
