Purple Columbine Seeds
$2
50+ seeds in a pack. Herbaceous perennial eye-catching blue-purple Columbine with "spurless" blossoms growing to 20-60 cm tall. These spring flowers will be one of the first in bloom, bringing you delight in mid-spring. They're popular ornamental plants in gardens, excellent for cutting and attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Direct-sow seeds in the ground in the fall or after last spring’s frost. Alternatively, sow seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before the last spring frost. Press the seed into the soil, but do not cover it as they need light to germinate. Seeds will germinate in 21 to 28 days. Cold stratification is not necessary, but it can improve germination rates. Winter sowing is a great way to start these wildflower seeds. Please see my other vegetable and flower seeds listed.
