Charming vintage Japanese ceramic cat figurine featuring a sweet tilted head, closed eyes, and delicate hand-painted gold eyelashes. Finished in a glossy black glaze, this whimsical feline has wonderful mid-century character and classic vintage Japanese charm. Measures approximately 6 inches tall. Marked "Japan" on the underside. In good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. There is a tiny flea bite/nick on one ear that is difficult to notice and does not detract from the overall appearance or display value.
