Hello! My name is Ricky, and I’m proud to introduce Ricky’s Walk & Wag Services, providing loving and reliable dog walking and pet sitting (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish) for families who want peace of mind and genuine care for their pets. Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve had many pets throughout my life, and still do — not just dogs, but also birds, fish, turtles, reptiles, and other animals. I currently have six adopted dogs, and caring for them has shown me that working with animals isn’t just something I enjoy — it’s what I’m meant to do. I bring over 40 years of hands-on experience with animals, including dogs of all breeds and sizes. I also hold a Fish and Wildlife Technician diploma from Fleming College, which strengthened my knowledge of animal behavior, care, and respect for the natural world. I’m very passionate about the outdoors and wildlife, and my biggest lifelong hobby is fishing, which has kept me deeply connected to nature and animals throughout my life. I am a kind, patient, active, and trustworthy person with deep respect for all animals and God’s creations, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m starting this business while still working full-time, with the goal of transitioning fully once I confirm enough local demand. At this stage, I am building a client list, and I kindly ask for a little patience during this startup period (approximately 1–2 months, depending on interest). Once confirmed, I will dedicate myself full-time to serving you and your pets. My services include dog walking and pet sitting, and I welcome all breeds and sizes, including high-energy dogs. I am not afraid of any breed and truly enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. Every dog receives gentle, loving, and attentive care, with the same respect and commitment I give my own animals. My availability is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. My standard rate is $30 per hour, which includes travel to and from locations for new or occasional clients. For bookings longer than 3 hours, as well as for regular clients, I offer a discounted rate of $25 per hour. I proudly serve Orangeville, Shelburne, Fergus, Caledon, Georgetown, Guelph, Acton, Rockwood, Erin, and surrounding areas. I am truly grateful for every person—and every animal—I have the opportunity to care for, now and in the future.
