Small Accent Table with Drawer

Vintage Solid Wood Entry Table - Circa 1940s This charming entry table is approximately 80 years old and showcases the kind of craftsmanship rarely found in modern furniture. From the hand-cut dovetail drawer construction and rough-sawn secondary wood to the original wooden knob, every detail speaks to an era when furniture was built to last generations. Lovingly rescued and refinished, this piece has been updated in Fusion Mineral Paint "Casement" with a rich cappuccino-stained top and drawer front. The interior of the drawer has been freshly lined, while the beautiful dovetail joinery has been intentionally left visible as a nod to its history and craftsmanship. Solid wood throughout, this table is equally at home in an entryway, hallway, living room, or behind a sofa. Like any well-loved piece nearing a century old, she carries a few signs of her journey. The drawer operates but isn't perfect, and a few character marks remain. These have been preserved rather than erased, adding authenticity to a piece that has already stood the test of time. A comparable new console table from a big-box retailer may cost as much or more, but few are built with solid wood construction and traditional joinery. This table has already proven its durability for nearly 80 years and, with proper care, will likely continue serving its next owner for decades to come. Some furniture is bought. Some furniture is inherited. This piece was built to be the latter. Dimensions: Height: 29" Width: 30" Depth: 19.5" Asking $145 OBO. Pickup in Preston Cambridge Cash or e-transfer
