1965 Italian Ceramic Cherub Putti Lidded Jar | Hand Painted
$39
This Italian ceramic lidded trinket jar features an embossed bas-relief design depicting classic cherubs (putti) dancing within a stylized garden setting. Crafted from classic molded earthenware, the container is finished with hand-painted detailing in a palette of light sky blue, terra-cotta orange, and spring green. The piece is crowned with a matching dome lid featuring a molded floral garland and a stylized finial.
The flat base features an open glaze ring and carries an authentic ink stamp reading "MADE IN ITALY," consistent with post-WWII European export pottery. An excellent addition to collections of classic Italian pottery or Neoclassical decor.
