$25
A set of four vintage heavy shot glasses for tequila, malört or schnapps with American pattern. The mark in the image is a shield with an "F" logo used by the Fostoria Glass Company. Fostoria was a prominent American glassware manufacturer known for its high-quality crystal and various patterns. The Fostoria Glass Company was founded in Fostoria, Ohio, in 1887, and later moved to Moundsville, West Virginia, where it operated until it became defunct in 1986.
Identification: Early Fostoria tableware pieces often featured needle etched or wheel cut decorations. The company also produced a well-known quality, clear crystal glass, particularly in the "American" pattern, which was cubist-prismatic in form. Fostoria produced a wide range of glassware, including tableware, candelabras, and giftware.
