Organic Chayote starters

Organic chayote starters, home-saved seeds, improved variety. They have small spines, a light sweet and crisp taste, good storage ability, high yield, cold tolerance, strong resistance to pests and diseases, and are easy to grow. They begin flowering in late July and fruiting in August, and can continue producing until November. Chayote can be stored in a cool garage until May or June of the following year. The photos were all taken on April 17, 2026—our stored chayotes are from last year’s harvest and still look as fresh as when they were picked. Our Chayote is an extremely healthy organic vegetable.
