Vintage Tonalá Mexican Pottery Cat – Hand Painted Folk Art Ceramic Beautiful vintage Tonalá pottery cat from Mexico, featuring traditional hand-carved detailing and vibrant cobalt blue and green floral accents. Crafted in heavy earthenware with a warm cream matte glaze, this piece reflects classic mid-century Tonalá folk art design. The carved brown sunburst motifs and floral decoration are characteristic of Tonalá artisan pottery from the 1960s–1980s export period. Solid and substantial in weight. Unmarked on the base (common for vintage Tonalá pieces), with kiln vent hole present.
