Vintage Miniature Brass Coal Scuttles Pair – Hammered Log Holder

Up for sale is a charming vintage pair of graduated miniature brass coal scuttle buckets / hearth log hods. Each piece features a hand-hammered dimpled finish, sturdy stationary arched handles secured with copper rivets, ornate acanthus leaf brackets, and cast lion paw / claw feet. They nest neatly inside one another for storage and display, measuring approximately 5 inches and 5.5 inches in height to the handle tops. Both baskets are in very good vintage condition with an attractive aged brass patina. Perfect as decorative fireplace mantel accents, tabletop trinket holders, match/striker bins, or miniature plant/succulent caddies.
