Aluratek 9" Digital Photo Frame **please read description**

Aluratek 9" Multimedia Digital Photo Frame. Includes remote control, AC adapter, and instructional manual. This frame is currently not working. It flashes on when the power cord is plugged in and then nothing. I tried ordering a new adapter but the jacket didn't fit the frame to try it out. So this is for someone techy who might like to try and fix this. It sat in box for 4.5yrs after purchase without ever being used or tried out. Looking to divert this if at all possible from the landfill.
