Vintage 1970s Disneyland Decorative Castle Plate

This is a vintage Walt Disney Productions decorative plate featuring the Disneyland castle. It's made of ceramic with a gold-trimmed lattice border. Includes a string on the back for wall hanging. Front Illustration: The center of the plate features a colorful, mid-century graphic illustration of Sleeping Beauty Castle, the iconic centerpiece of Disneyland in California. It depicts the castle with its signature blue turrets and gold towers, set against a background of green trees, a blue sky, and a moat of water in the foreground. The word "Disneyland" is printed directly beneath the castle in a stylized gold, Gothic-style font. Rim Design: The edge of the plate features an elegant, pierced reticulated (lattice-style) border with delicate open cutouts. The outer wavy rim and parts of the lattice woodwork are heavily accented with a sponged gold trim decoration. Back Stamp & Markings: The reverse side of the white porcelain plate is stamped in black ink with the official vintage copyright "© WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS" surrounding a stylized "WDP" castle logo. Beneath the logo, it reads "JAPAN", denoting where it was manufactured. Hanging Apparatus: It comes equipped with a pre-installed thin metal wire loop wrapped around the back base, which was standard for these vintage souvenirs so they could be immediately hung on a wall for display.
