Basement Room for Rent — $650/month Looking for a FRIENDLY, respectful, long-term tenant to rent a comfortable basement room in our family home. The room is a decent size and comes with its own private bathroom, including a shower and a large vanity. There’s also lots of closet space, and the room comes furnished with a bed and mattress, couch, and dresser, so you won’t need to bring everything with you. The room does not have a private kitchen, but a mini fridge, pantry space, microwave, and dishes are provided. That said, the main living room and kitchen are 100% open and available for you to use. You are absolutely welcome to cook, wash dishes, use the main fridge for extra food storage, hang out in the living room, or use the shared spaces for whatever you need. The kitchen and living room are shared spaces, but you are genuinely welcome to use them. They are not off-limits. The house is shared with a family of three, all adults, as well as our family cat, who is extremely cuddly and especially loves meeting new people. The basement room does not have a private entrance and is accessed through the front door of the house. The room itself has its own lock, so you can lock it from the inside, or leave it locked when you're out of the house. The laundry room is right next to the bedroom and is shared. Internet and all other amenities are included in the rent and will be ready for you when you move in. $650/month, with a preference for a long-term tenant. There is parking available for one car, although unfortunately we can't accommodate pickup trucks or larger vehicles. No smoking or drinking inside the house.
