Vintage 1980s Superior "Futura" Kettle

This is a vintage Superior Electrics "Futura" automatic electric kettle from the 1980s.Design: It features a highly distinctive, space-age "cassette futurism" white plastic body. The design integrates a broad overhead handle, a built-in pouring spout, and a central circular lid. Origin: These hard-working, retro appliances were proudly manufactured in Canada. Another Classic Vintage Retro product that is so much better than the disposable stuff produced today. Original Power cord comes with it, and I've seen just the cord for $30 to $45CAD. $30 is a very fair place for this awesome working piece of the 1980s.
