Danby 12,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner

We recently purchased this for $220 and used it for just one week. It cools down the space incredibly fast and functions perfectly, but it is simply too loud for our living room setup where we sit right next to it.The Details:The Good: It is a newer 2025 model, clean, and works perfectly regarding its cooling power.The Catch: It makes a noticeable noise while running. It sounds like a motor bearing or something internal rubbing against a component.The Deal: I do not know how to fix it myself and do not want to spend the time doing so. If you are handy or mechanically inclined, this is likely a quick and easy fix for an otherwise expensive, high-powered unit.We are heavily discounting this down to $160 to make up for the noise issue so someone can grab a great deal, fix the rattle, and have a powerful, near-new AC.
