Vintage MCM Wood UFO Lamp - Likely Rotaflex Shade

Exceptional vintage mid-century modern UFO table lamp featuring a large 20" ribbed shade, sculptural wood supports, and brass-tone detailing. The shade appears to be a period Rotaflex or Rotaflex-process shade. It is constructed from a single continuous plastic filament wound helically around the entire shade - the distinctive manufacturing technique associated with Rotaflex shades. No Rotaflex maker's mark has been located, so the attribution is not guaranteed and from my research there are not usually Rotaflex markings so its impossible to confirm. The oversized saucer-shaped shade measures approximately 20" across and produces a beautiful warm, diffused glow when illuminated. Combined with the curved wooden supports, brass centre column and round wooden base, it has an incredible space-age / atomic silhouette. A substantial statement lamp at approximately 31" tall, perfect for a mid-century interior, credenza, sideboard or console. Condition: Good vintage condition overall and tested/working. There is age-related wear/tarnishing to the brass-tone components, and the shade shows some age on the bottom -most edge and could benefit from additional careful cleaning.
