MCM Vintage Zebrano Cube Side Table / Plinth

Authentic 1970s cube side table with dramatic zebrano-style laminate, contrasting matte black top, and recessed black base. The bold vertical grain and clean geometric form lean heavily into the architectural side of 1970s design — somewhere between late modernism and the heavier, more sculptural interiors that came out of the era’s brutalist influence. It has that moody, lounge-like quality so many 1970s interiors carried: rich wood tones, graphic contrast, low silhouettes, and simple forms that relied on material and proportion rather than ornament. Works well as a side table, low pedestal, plant stand, or compact sculptural accent piece. Dimensions: 15”W x 15”D x 16”H Condition: Good vintage condition overall with some lifting to sections of the laminate along the lower edge and one vertical seam. There is also a small fissure/crack to one top corner, shown in photos. Structurally solid and presents well overall. Pickup at Adelaide & Sherbourne, downtown Toronto.
