Vintage Gold Castle Chikusa Cat Teapot Hand Painted Japan 1950s

Vintage Gold Castle Chikusa cat-shaped teapot, hand painted and made in Japan. Features a whimsical white cat design with blue and yellow accents, gold-tone eyes, collar and raised bow. The removable cat-head lid completes the design. Approximately 7.5–8 inches tall with lid in place and approximately 5.25 inches tall without lid. Bottom is marked “Gold Castle – Hand Painted – Chikusa – Made in Japan.” Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear to the finish/gold accents.
