These are commercial quality speakers suitable for a retail store but can also be used for residential. New in box. Enforcer G Series Loudspeaker Systems are complete self-contained coaxial, bass-reflex speaker systems. The G8 offers three optional pattern control horns allowing full system design. The High frequency horn flares simply screw into the 1" compression driver. Flares available are 120°, 60° & 120° X 60° (Asymmetric). These high output packages utilize a unique and effective cooling system called Air Gap Technology (AGT). As well as Embedded High Frequency (EHF). With AGT the basket containing the motor structure is cast aluminum. A series of precision holes found in the aluminum cast basket act as heat transfer points that pull heat from the gap, this is an effective way of maintaining top performance even under extreme demands. With EHF the high output 1" compression driver is built into the motor structure of the eight inch driver minimizing the space taken within the tuned housing as well as unitizing on the on the AGT cooling effect and aliening the two drivers at a single point source. The G8 offers both of these type of technology in a package consisting of a driver pack having an injected PP & Mica, Cone Woofer and 1" embedded (EHF) Compression Driver, the G-Series also utilizes a built-in 70 Volt transformer that offers a variable tap selection switch and a transformer by-pass (selectable by removing the front grill). The G8 is enclosed in an all aluminum bezel assembly with fully mounted metal seal back can. The enclosure has removable non-fibreglass damping material inside and white powder coat paint on the outside, comes complete with T-Bar supports. Wiring terminations are enclosed in a rear compartment utilizing a smart connect plug, wire restraint and removable cover plate for ease of installation. When flush mounting, the entire installation can be done from below the ceiling grid. The split ring tile support can easily be pasted through the hole up and into place. The G8 speakers are then pushed up into the mounting hole and the four machine screws found under the grill are used to operate the four aluminum tie down dogs, installation is that simple.
