Vintage Peerage Brass Coal/Kindling Scuttle Box

VINTAGE PEERAGE BRASS COAL, TINDER, KINDLING, SCUTTLE BOX REPOUSSE PUB BY PEERAGE BRASS OF ENGLAND IS IN FAIR CONDITION. The wooden box is clad in repousse-embossed brass and is approximately 18" X 12" X 11-1/2" and will show areas of brass patina as it is aging. (see photos) The box's top depicts a street scene of an 18Th century English village inn. The front of the box is a scene of a traveling party stopping and preparing to go into the pub.
