Each 3-panel gate expands up to 141 inches. Gates are easy to connect together with a twist knob on top of each section. The gate is very easy to get through with one-hand slide release/and lift motion. You can also rearrange the panels for desired configuration. Shown is the gate panel in the middle, however you can rearrange it to have the gate panel on either end. The wide gate can also be wall mounted to secure a large open area (ie: block off the kitchen or enclose an open concept living room/area) This was only used indoors with no pets. Mostly used from baby to toddler (this help contained toys from the rest of the house). You could likely use it with pets without sharp nails/claws.
