Pair Vintage Ercol chairs Quaker & Windsor mid century modern

Two chairs - one with arms and one without both made by Ercol out of the UK. Estimate is that they’re from the 60’s showing wear and patina but also showing loads of charm. Height: 37.5” Width (arm to arm, outside dimensions): 23.5” Seat width: 16.5 overall Seat width (inside arm supports): 15.5” Seat depth: 16” Seat depth: from spindles to front seat edge: 15.75” Seat height:16.5” The elegant designed Quaker dining chair has clean lines and soft curved edges. The chair bow is steam bent from a single piece of ash shaped to give its subtle and elegant profile. Traditional wedge joints, fix the legs to the seat, a wedge is inserted into a cut, before the leg stump is sanded flush with the seat, to create a lovely design detail and a very strong joint.
