Signed oil painting by Gerda Neubacher, dated 1982. Gerda Neubacher is an Austrian-born Canadian artist known for her detailed, realistic paintings and decorative artworks. Together with her husband Fred Neubacher, she produced works marketed under the "High Realism" name, and her original paintings remain collectible examples of late 20th-century Canadian art. This charming floral still life features a vibrant arrangement of wildflowers displayed in a rustic pottery vessel against a richly textured background.
