Animal Checkers travel game

Opened but like new. A classic skill game for travel or home. INSTRUCTIONS: Number of Players: 2 SETTING UP THE BOARD To begin, the youngest player chooses which color they want to play as. Each player then puts their chips on every other dark square, filling every dark square in the first three rows of the board. PLAY The youngest player gets to play first. Each player takes their turn by mowing a piece. Pieces are always moved diagonally forward (towards the other player): Taking the other player's pieces: ∙ If the other player's piece is next to a piece and there is an empty space on the other side, then the player can "jump" the other player's piece and take it off the board. ∙ Note: Multiple pieces can be jumped in one move. Making a "KING" ∙ If a piece makes it to the opposite side of the board, that piece becomes a "King" piece. Another piece is placed on top of that piece so it is now two pieces high. ∙ King pieces can move in both directions, either forward or backward. WINNING If a player either has no more pieces on the board or can't move any of their pieces, the other player is the winner.
