Trading an iPhone SE 2nd gen (black color) [READ DESCRIPTION]

Trading my iPhone SE 2 (2020), 128GB. Everything works as it should: Face ID, cameras, speakers, mics, wireless charging, and SIM tray all fine. Good cosmetic condition with normal light wear from use (no cracks). - Storage: 128GB - Battery health: 75% - Condition: Good (light scratches/scuffs, screen and body intact) - iCloud: signed out, Activation Lock off, factory reset, clean IMEI (not blacklisted) - Includes: phone only TRADE ONLY — I'm not interested in cash offers. Looking for a not too old flagship Android with an unlockable bootloader. Reasonable specs are fine but should not be too low; I care most about bootloader unlock ability and long-term software support. Some phones I'd consider: Pixel flagships (Pixel 6 and newer), somewhat recent OnePlus flagships, Sony Xperia 1 series, Samsung Galaxy S/Note flagships (in some regions/carriers such as International models [mainly from europe, south america, asia, and africa), Motorola Edge flagships (unless if it is extremely risky to unlock or extremely difficult). Before we trade, please confirm your phone has an unlockable bootloader — see the steps below. If it can't be unlocked, I'll have to pass. 1. Identify the exact model number, region and carrier. Settings > About phone (Android) or the box/back label. A Snapdragon variant (with model code ending with W, U or U1) behaves differently than Exynos (Usually ending with F), and a US/Canadian model often differs from the international ones. This matters more than anything else. 2. Look up the official unlock path for that exact model: - Google Pixel: always unlockable via fastboot flashing unlock (must enable OEM unlocking in Developer options). - OnePlus: always unlockable via the official deep link / fastboot. - Sony Xperia: unlockable through Sony's official developer unlock site. - Motorola: unlockable via moto's official bootloader unlock site. - Samsung: bootloader *can* be physically unlocked (OEM unlock + Download mode) but this trips Knox permanently (wipes Secure Folder, Samsung Pay, etc.) and is not reversible. US carrier models usually cannot be unlocked at all. - Xiaomi/POCO/Redmi: needs an unlock application + waiting period, and is restricted or unavailable on many newer/global builds. - Huawei, Honor (newer), OPPO, vivo, Realme (many models), and virtually all US/Canadian carrier-branded phones (Verizon/AT&T/T-Mobile/US Cellular variants or Bel/Rogers/Telus/Canadian Celluar Variants): NOT unlockable. Makes phone ineligible for trade in. 3. Check the phone itself (do this before meeting): Enable Developer options: Settings > About phone > tap "Build number" 7 times. Then Settings > System > Developer options > look for "OEM unlocking". - Toggle present and greyed out by the carrier = likely locked for good. - Toggle absent entirely = almost certainly no unlock support. Note: an OEM-unlock toggle alone isn't proof — some brands lock anyway or make it notoriously difficult to unlock bootloader. 4. Verify the IMEI is clean and the device is not financed/locked: Dial *#06#, then run the IMEI through the carrier's own eligibility page (or check IMEI/swappa) to confirm it's paid off and not reported. 5. Explicitly state your phone's model code (For Instance, Galaxy S20 Ultra = SM-G988N)
  • Condition
    Good
