Wendel Clark #17 > Toronto Maple Leafs, Left wing. He was chosen in the first round, number one overall in the 1985 draft by Toronto. He was voted Best Defenseman in the WHL in 1984,85. He helped Canada win Gold at the 1985 Junior Championship. He played for the Leafs 3 different times, he was captain from 1991 - 94. He amassed 227 penalty minutes and 34 goals, both rookie records in 1985. He was a huge fan favorite known for his physical force, his intensity, scoring ability. He was known as Captain Crunch was a heavy hitter and one of the best body checkers in the game.
