Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch Retina, Mid 2015

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) with a Quad-Core Intel Core i7 processor. It has 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory and AMD Radeon R9 M370X graphics. Runs on macOS Monterey version 12.7.2. This laptop has a 15.4-inch (2880 x 1800) Built-in Retina Display. Bought this MacBook Pro many years ago. Works fine but needs to be plugged in during use and if unplugged it doesn’t work, which tells me it probably needs a new battery. I purchased a new power cable charger last year and I think it was around $100. The cord gets very hot so perhaps the MacBook just needs a cleaning inside, I’m not sure maybe the dust is clogging the fans
