2004 Honda Civic DX

Selling my 2004 civic DX. Owned since 82,000kms. **Clean Active Title, never had an accident** It currently has 170,500kms. The engine starts every time and runs very smooth. Asking $4700 OBO *within reason* Low ballers will be ignored. Everything works including wicked heat and good AC *Comes with 4 Michelin X-Ice 3’s on rims. 2 @ 80% 2 @ 65%* Got a new battery about 3.5yrs ago *Just replaced the windshield July 12th* *New timing belt and water pump, rear main seal, cam seals (came with the timing kit I ordered) and a valve cover gasket 5 yrs ago, I bought the genuine Honda coolant for them to replace it the coolant with as well. When I purchased the car I immediately switched the oil to Amsoil full synthetic and stayed on top of changing oil and filter every 6-7k kms. I do mostly all the work on it myself (a shop did the timing belt/water pump). Amsoil is one of the best synthetic oils you can buy. Look into it and you’ll see for yourself it outperforms all other high end synthetic oils. *I changed the transmission fluid as well, and did a power steering flush about a week after purchase. All with dealer bought genuine Honda fluids. The car is a solid and reliable car for everyday use or would be great for a first car. It has started to rust just a bit over the rear wheel wells, which is very common on these cars. The paint is only bubbling a bit where the rust is, but hasn’t came off yet. *It was leaking oil from the cam cover beside EGR valve a couple times, and a couple times cause; I replaced it with the plastic clip caps that eventually leaked again. However a little over a yr ago I put the rubber one with a lip in it and it hasn’t leaked since. There is oil down the front/back passenger side of motor from these leaks which I can’t get all of it off, but as of now it doesn’t leak a drop of anything. *The Airbag light has recently came on, and it did have an airbag recall like 6yrs ago. I don’t think it’s anything to do with the recall, and I’ve been driving it with it on for a couple months. Other than that the body is in amazing shape for its age, paint is still shiny and not faded or worn. **It needs new rear brake shoes and a brake service I would recommend(replaced the drums a little over a year ago) **I have the replacement shoes and all the hardware/springs AND rear brake cylinders that I will give to the new owner, as well as new Michelin wiper blades that I have on hand**. I was going to do spark plugs one of these days so I also have the 4 spark plugs on hand. All those parts are probably about a $200+ bill that I will throw into the deal for free. Front pads were done before winter/late fall, and rotors I put on about 2yrs ago. If you work on your own cars or have an interest to, this is the perfect vehicle for you! Everything is fairly simple and easy/straightforward to repair/replace. **I WILL NOT be doing any requested inspection forms from a link or website sent by the person contacting me. So don’t bother** I will pay for the carfax if serious buyer wants, but will add that to the final sale price. Contact me through this posting to book a viewing or inquire about it.
