Vintage Ceramic Cow & Kitten Cookie Jar

This vintage McCoy cookie jar features a jaunty winking cat riding on a happy jersey cow. Made from strong ceramic material it still looks new after 70 years. McCoy creations were very popular in the late 1940s and through the 1950s. The jar is in excellent condition – the only noticeable flaw is some crazing on the cat’s right ear – see photos. Measuring 7 inches in height, 12 inches in length, and 6.5 inches in width, this jar is perfect for storing all types of cookies and other small treats.
