Measurements can be seen in the photos. Authentic vintage Ethiopian Gabata board game, beautifully hand-carved from wood and richly decorated with hand-painted Coptic-style angelic figures. This traditional African Mancala-style game is both a functional tabletop game and a striking piece of folk art décor. The folding two-panel design features 12 carved play pits and closes securely with a leather strap and snap, making it easy to display or store. The vibrant painted figures and aged patina give the piece exceptional character and collectible appeal. A wonderful addition for collectors of African art, ethnographic pieces, tribal artifacts, or unique vintage games. Condition: Good vintage condition with attractive age-related wear and patina. There is a visible age crack on the lower panel and a small corner chip consistent with handmade vintage wooden pieces. Displays beautifully and remains fully functional.
