Kinex 116 Drafting Compass Set

This Kinex 116 drawing instrument set contains a variety of metal drafting tools. The collection comes in a brown zippered case with a black velvet-lined interior. The dimensions are approximately 22 cm by 12 cm (8.7" by 4.7"). drawing set— Czechoslovakian-made, 1970s-80s. It's a full bow compass / divider / ruling pen set for ink drafting — what architects and engineering students used before CAD. What you're looking at, top to bottom: - *Top & bottom:* 2 large beam compasses for big circles - *Middle left:* Small bow compass + attachment handles - *Middle right:* Drop-bow compass for tiny circles, + extension bars - *All the little bits:* Interchangeable points — pencil lead holders, needle points (dividers), ink ruling pen nibs, and the little black box is a lead sharpener - *The black/white handles:* You screw them onto the compass legs depending on if you're using ink or pencil KINEX is very well made, all stainless.
