Misto cooking oil spray bottle 🏈

This cooking oil spray bottle is hard to close after oil is put in. Once oil is put in and you can manage to close it (the interior part that holds the oil), it'll work just fine and you can open and close the cap no problem. The cap is the thing used to pump the thing with pressure so that the oil can be sprayed. Why is it having a hard time closing? It seems that the plastic part has expanded and/or another plastic part has shrunk slightly hence why this is 2mm shy of being closed all the way, which would be fine to use like that if there was oil in it. It was just a bit difficult to close it even that much, which is why I'm getting rid of it. Used a few times, though I cleaned it out and did not put oil in it this time. Wondering if there is any interest in this. If not, I'll just throw it away. Has a little window strip on each side so you can see how much oil is left. Just under 8 inches tall.
