The reverse side is adorned with a recurring pattern of Iron Cross symbols. *German silver, also know as nickel silver, is a copper, nickel, and zinc alloy. It is named because its key ingredient—nickel—gives the material a shiny, lustrous appearance that looks very much like real silver.
