Chinese Style Carved Wooden Cabinet Box w/ Multiple Drawers, Provenance N/ A A highly decorative Chinese tabletop altar cabinet featuring intricate reticulated bone or ivory carvings set into a hardwood frame. These ornate cabinets, often referred to as altar chests or scholarly cabinets, were traditional pieces of furniture in late Qing Dynasty and early 20th-century Chinese households.
