Antique Satsuma Porcelain Vase Lamp

Up for sale is an antique, finely hand-painted enamel Satsuma family porcelain vase lamp. The vase has magnificent proportions and beautiful large court scenes on the main body. The main medallions in front and back depict different court scenes with superb details and colors, outlined with a dragon-shaped raised border. The side panels are beautifully detailed with raised Chinese characters on both sides. This Chinese Satsuma vase was later converted into a fine table lamp and is in excellent working condition. The lamp dates to the mid-1800s and may be from the Qing dynasty. The overall height to the top of the finial is 18 inches, and it is 6 inches wide at the widest point.
