Antique Farm Auger Hand Drill with Wooden Handle

Up for sale is an antique auger tool. The solid wood handle measures 14.5 inches. The screw bit is 8.5 inches long and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. The entire shaft from top to bottom is 27 inches. It weighs approximately 2-4 lbs. This item is from Hazelton, BC, likely used on farms over 100 years ago, possibly pre-1900. There is some pitting and surface rust. A stamped/engraved name at the very top of the shaft cannot be made out. The wood handle is worn and shifts loosely. Feel free to message if you have any questions!
