Vintage Hand Painted Finger Plate (Lemon or Nappy Plate)

This vintage dish with its porcelain handle was used at “high tea” or during formal dinner parties. During tea this dish held sugar cubes and/or lemon slices (hence the alternative name Lemon Dish). It was also used to serve petit fours & mints. For dinner parties, it elegantly displayed & served small items. Today, it makes a great addition to your collection, a lovely display piece or even as a ring/jewellery tray or whatnot” holder. It features hand painted flowers with blue trim and scalloped edges. No chips or flaws on the front of the dish. There are two small chips on the back of the dish (See pictures). Driveway pickup
