Blue Mountain Speckled Lidded Dish, Natural / Buttercream Colour

Blue Mountain Pottery La Cuisine Bean Pot from the early 1980s. Features a distinctive natural / buttercream-coloured glazed finish with fine dark brown speckles throughout. Styled with a traditional round shape, two molded side handles, and a matching fitted lid topped with a round knob. Dimensions: max. height from based to lid top is 18cm; max. width of dish from handle to handle is 20cm; max. depth of dish is 17cm; opening width is 15cm. The manufacturer included a hole in the lid handle to relieve internal pressure when the pot is in use. Very good vintage condition. This vintage/antique item has a few minor chips to the glaze along the rim consistent with long-term use; which are not visible when the lid is on the vessel (see photos).
