This is a striking set of two vintage Dutch-style fireplace coal scuttles (helmet style). This nested pair is perfect for a hearth display, as unique indoor planters, or for holding kindling/matches. Dimensions: Large: 9" L x 6.75" W x 7" H Small: 7.5" L x 5.25" W x 6" H Condition: These items are in good vintage condition light wear. Please note that the original clear plastic lacquer coating is wearing/peeling a little bit on the small copper one as per photos; this is common for pieces of this era and can be left for a rustic look or stripped and polished if a high-shine finish is preferred.
