Antique: Tun Tavern 1775-1975 (collectible item)

This is an vintage piece with only a few made and sold to honour the 200th year anniversary of the “Ye Olde Tun Tavern”. The Tun Tavern was a tavern and brewery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which was an early meeting place for a number of notable groups. It is traditionally regarded as the site where what became the United States Marine Corps held its first recruitment drive during the American Revolution. It first opened in 1686.
