Antique Wedgwood Cobalt Blue Dip, Sacrifices Figures Pitcher/Jug 1891-1907 Period Mark Dimensions:  7 ½” Tall 4 ½” Wide at Base                Condition:  Excellent Markings: Wedgwood England 12 X X A classic Wedgwood shape, this syrup jug is decorated with a mythological scene called “Sacrifice Figures”.  One woman is tending to the brazier while the other three bring offerings of flowers, fruits, and fruit.  Both sides also have a little cupid and the top has a grape-grapevine wreath. The handle is a standard Wedgwood rope handle. No chips, damage or repairs on this piece. Please see pictures for condition. It would make a lovely addition to one’s Victorian/Edwardian antique collection.
