West Wall Medal 1939

Awarded to: Construction workers, engineers, officials and labor organizations engaged in building the Westwall/Siegfried Line. Military, police and auxiliary personnel who manned or restored the defenses (especially under the 1944 re-issue). Typically bestowed with an award document; worn suspended from a ribbon on the left breast.
