Antique Hand-Painted Wedgwood Tureen 1920s

Antique Wedgwood lidded serving dish. This particular style appears to be what is called “drabware” and features hand painted black and white details. Drabware was created using dark clay, rather than white clay which then gets glazed. This clear glaze over dark clay produces drabware's naturally rich, saturated oatmeal colour. It’s in excellent condition and appears to have minimal to no use. Markings indicate that it is from the 1920s. Stamped Wedgewood, Made in England. - 10” x 6 1/2” openlng - 5 1/2” tall - 12” wide including handles 🏃‍♂️Pick up in the Ossington and Davenport area.
