Beautiful vintage dresser. Circa ~1930. Everything is super sturdy. “Like New” condition, very well kept over the years. The original manufacturer is not certain, but is probably Kroehler based on my research. Fully restored with sanding, staining and sealing. Dark espresso low-VOC stain with a glossy finish over genuine mahogany hardwood. The gloss finish not only enhances the colour and beauty, but also is ideal for superior resistance to scuffs and liquids. Genuine mahogany hardwood is among the most valued wood species in high end furniture structures, due to its strength and beautiful grain pattern, coupled with relative scarcity as it only grows in a limited number of places. These are among the qualities that reflect in the higher relative price compared to other types of furniture made from pine, maple, composite, etc. The inner drawers themselves show their gorgeous mahogany grain. All the drawers slide properly, everything is clean, and there’s no odours. Delivery is included in the price, available throughout HRM.
