The objective is to be the first player to correctly solve a crime by determining the suspect's means, motive, and opportunity, then presenting an arrest warrant. Players act as Crime Scene Investigators, collecting evidence from various Crime Lab Divisions on the board and visiting colleagues to gather sufficient data to make an arrest. The game includes eight exclusive crime stories written by crime writer Max Haines, reviewed by forensics experts for authenticity. Components: board, crime stories, suspect and evidence cards, Grissom cards, disclosure cards, a CSI handbook, arrest warrants, playing pieces representing CSI characters, and a die.
