Sadly, the Parchment Check pattern has been discontinued, making this a highly sought-after collector's item. While it has structural flaws that prevent it from being used for beverages, it remains a beautiful, collectible display piece that looks gorgeous sitting on a stovetop, kitchen counter, or shelf. It also works wonderfully as a unique planter or vase for fresh flowers. Condition & Flaws (Please See Photos ): Interior: The interior enamel has worn away. It cannot be used for boiling water, cooking, or serving tea. The interior has been scrubbed clean and is free of loose rust debris, but it is strictly non-functional for food use. Lid/Knob: The original amber glass knob broke. I hand-crafted a replacement knob using beautiful natural materials (see photos). Handle: The wooden handle has cosmetic chipping on the sides. This is visible in the provided close-up photos , but the chips can easily be turned to the side to hide them from view when on display.Despite these imperfections, the iconic exterior pattern is bright, clean, and stunning.
